Our network was awarded the Special Prize in the Friendly Workplace 2021 plebiscite for the second time. We also received the title of Solid Employer 2021.
PLN 2,500 gross Special Award for Biedronka employees
By the end of March this year, over 50,000 of our employees will receive the Soares dos Santos Special Award for 2020 in the amount of PLN 2,500 gross.

On January 10, 2021, a virtual New Year's Eve party was held for all employees of our network. The event was organized in cooperation with the Event Partners Agency.
New Year's pay rises for Biedronka employees
Salaries of employees employed in stores and distribution centers of the Biedronka network will be higher by PLN 200 gross per month from January 2021. January pay rises will be given to as many as 58,000 employees of the largest private employer in Poland.
Biedronka celebrates its 25th anniversary!
"Biedronka is an inseparable part of the history of the Polish market. We have changed just as Poland's reality has changed in the last quarter of a century." These are the words of the general director of the chain, Luís Araujo, which were included in a letter to employees on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Biedronka.
Biedronka discovers anti-smog mural in the center of Warsaw!
The end of the second stage of the Biedronka award for the children's book Piórko 2020 was announced by the chain of stores in an unusual way. The winner of the "Illustrations" category of this year's Piórka, Magdalena Starowicz, received a check for PLN 100,000 from Biedronka. The book cover she designed was used on a mural unveiled in Warsaw's Powiśle. The mural is unique because it is painted with paints that purify the air from smog.
