Biedronka ready for vacation

Summer months in attractive tourist destinations are an annual challenge for our network, to which we found a solution a few years ago. We always follow the needs of our customers and for several years we have been responding to increased traffic in seasonal stores located throughout Poland. At the same time, we offer our employees the possibility of delegation or temporary employment for external candidates. All this in order to improve the work of our teams and ensure the highest standards of customer service.

This year, for the fifth time, we invite external candidates for seasonal work. We give our employees the opportunity to temporarily travel to stores located, among others, on the Polish seaside. During the upcoming holidays, newly hired employees, in addition to working in an attractive tourist destination, are also offered a competitive hourly rate and employment on a contract basis. Thanks to this solution, they can work and also enjoy the charms of a holiday resort after work. We will hire employees for the season from mid-June.

The possibility of combining work with leisure is also available to employees of our network, employed under an employment contract. They can take advantage of a summer delegation to one of the seasonal stores. In addition to the possibility of adjusting the schedule, we offer them a summer bonus, the amount of which can be up to PLN 350 gross per month. In selected cases, we also guarantee accommodation or travel expenses, as well as a meal. The trips of people employed in Biedronka are carried out from mid-June to the end of August.

In the era of the ongoing pandemic, some Poles will probably decide to stay in the country and thus go to the Polish seaside or the mountains to relax. In order to provide our customers with the highest level of service, we are expanding our teams for the fifth time.. We offer employment to temporary workers and our employees from other stores who declare their willingness to go to one of the seasonal stores.”

Employees employed under an employment contract, in addition to their standard salary, can count on an additional bonus in the form of a discretionary monthly bonus. A summer bonus is also provided for seasonal stores.

Diversifying the content became an additional challenge, because apart from preparing posters that we can see in the store hall and which are aimed at potential candidates from outside, our task was also to develop communication directed internally – to current employees of the Biedronka chain of stores. In the campaign, we focused on contextually combining products on store shelves with sayings referring to professional careers.”
