At the beginning of July, another edition of our Summer Internship Program "Owocne Wakacje" was launched. The Biedronka team was joined by over 60 interns who will gain professional experience in various areas of our company during the holidays.

One of Biedronka's main missions is to support the development of young people. For years, we have been taking action focused on educating and increasing the professional competences of young people. Now, a new facility has come under our wing!

At the end of June, our new Facebook profile “Work at Biedronka” was launched. With its help, we want to tell you what it’s like to work at Biedronka and present our values as an employer.

Summer months in attractive tourist destinations are an annual challenge for our network, to which we found a solution a few years ago. We always follow the needs of our customers and for several years we have been responding to increased traffic in seasonal stores located throughout Poland. At the same time, we offer our employees the possibility of delegation or temporary employment for external candidates. All this in order to improve the work of our teams and ensure the highest standards of customer service.

Our employees form one of the largest and most cohesive teams in Poland. A good atmosphere, cooperation and support from the direct superior - these are the indicators particularly highlighted by our colleagues in the engagement survey.

This is a great distinction for us! The award for Biedronka is a confirmation of a properly implemented personnel strategy.

During this time, we have had around 1,000,000 views of our home page. Over 54,000 candidates have applied to us through our careers page.
