What is the Young Talents 4 Biedronka competition?

We created Young Talents 4 Biedronka with enterprising, innovative and creative students aged 19–25 in mind. Over the course of two days, you’ll have the opportunity to carry out a group project that could have a real impact on the shopping experience of millions of customers. You’ll present the results of your work to the judging panel and experts from Biedronka. Finally, the best participants will receive cash prizes and the chance to start working for Poland’s largest employer!

You don't have to have straight A's in your transcript to enter the competition. We're also curious about the activities you're involved in within and outside of the University.

We focus on teamwork

At Biedronka, we value teamwork and mutual support, which is why you’ll be competing for the prize in groups of four at the autumn bootcamp, which will be combined with the final gala.

1st place – 4 x 2,500 zł (including a 500 zł Biedronka shopping voucher)
2nd place – 4 x 2,000 zł (including a 500 zł Biedronka shopping voucher)
3rd place – 4 x 1,500 zł (including a 500 zł Biedronka shopping voucher)
4th place – 4 x 1,000 zł (including a 500 zł Biedronka shopping voucher)
5th place – 4 x 500 zł in the form of a Biedronka shopping voucher

What will this year’s competition task be on?

One topic, many ways to tackle it!
You won’t find out the competition topic until the first day. It will relate to the retail sector in the broadest sense, and you’ll decide for yourself which area to focus on and how to go about improving it.

having student status,

speak English at least at B1 level,

interested in logistics, e-commerce, IT, process improvement or building relationships,

aged 19 to 25,

having an active profile on social media (FB, Instagram, LinkedIn or TikTok),

ready to take on ambitious tasks and raise the bar,

ready to work in a team and having highly developed interpersonal skills.

We will arrange online interviews with the shortlisted candidates. Whatever the final decision, you will receive a reply from us. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for you!

Congratulations! The application process is now behind you and the Young Talents 4 Biedronka programme is about to begin for you. On 30 October, there will be an online meeting where you’ll find out more about the programme, its objectives and the other participants. This will mark the start of your adventure with the Young Talents 4 Biedronka programme.

On 5–6 November, a bootcamp will be held, combined with the programme’s final gala. The first day will be devoted to working on the challenge (case) – together with your team, you will develop your ideas and prepare for the final presentation. On the second day, the final gala will take place, during which selected participants will present their ideas to the jury and compete for victory in the Young Talents 4 Biedronka competition.

We want to invite creative and proactive people to the competition, so information about the field of study, participation in student organizations or volunteering, knowledge of programs and applications, and level of foreign language proficiency are important. If you have first professional experience - brag about it and describe your tasks and responsibilities in previous places of work.

The competition will last two days. In addition, there will be an hour-long online meeting.

Yes, we provide accommodation and meals – we only do not reimburse travel costs to stationary events.

We are open to cooperation with participants of the Young Talents 4 Biedronka program, but a lot depends on the company's business needs and current recruitment. The winners of the competition will have the opportunity to take advantage of accelerated recruitment for Biedronka's talent programs: Management Trainee and Owocne Wakacje.
