Biedronka celebrates its 25th anniversary!

"Biedronka is an inseparable part of the history of the Polish market. We have changed just as Poland's reality has changed in the last quarter of a century." These are the words of the general director of the chain, Luís Araujo, which were included in a letter to employees on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Biedronka.

Biedronka discovers anti-smog mural in the center of Warsaw!

The end of the second stage of the Biedronka award for the children's book Piórko 2020 was announced by the chain of stores in an unusual way. The winner of the "Illustrations" category of this year's Piórka, Magdalena Starowicz, received a check for PLN 100,000 from Biedronka. The book cover she designed was used on a mural unveiled in Warsaw's Powiśle. The mural is unique because it is painted with paints that purify the air from smog.

EBEA 2020 Awards Presented!

On September 10, the Employer Branding Excellence Award 2020 Gala took place. Biedronka took first place for two internal campaigns: Razem Zadbajmy o Zdrowie and Świeżoznawcy. We also received a distinction in the Employer Branding Strategy category.

Employees celebrate 25th anniversary of Biedronka in new outfits!

Biedronka is changing to celebrate its quarter-century anniversary this year. Since Monday, employees of our stores in the south of the country – from Kielce, through Krakow, to Zakopane – started their day in new, red and black uniforms. Eventually, the new colors and styles of clothing will appear in all stores in Poland.
