14th anniversary of work at Biedronka
Katarzyna started working at Biedronka in February 2010 as a Salesperson-Cashier in Otwock. She applied there after being informed by a colleague about an open recruitment for that location. After a year and a half, she was promoted to the position of Deputy Store Manager in one of the newly opened Biedronka stores in Warsaw.

Since 2013, for 5 years, Kasia has worked as a Store Manager. For 5 years, she has been the Manager of the Training and Implementation Store in Warsaw, where her main duties include training Biedronka employees at all levels - from Salesperson-Cashier to Store Manager. In addition, she takes part in development and training projects and cooperates with internal Trainers, HRBP in the region and Operations and Sales Managers, as well as Senior Operations and Sales Managers. In addition, Kasia is a participant in the Development Embassy - a unique, internal Biedronka program that promotes a culture of cooperation, exchange of experiences and continuous improvement. Contact with people is something that Katarzyna finds invaluable in her daily work.

Kasia's favorite benefits include the annual program of preventive examinations Razem Zadbajmy o Zdrowie, thanks to which Biedronka employees can take advantage of a package of free tests. In 2023, during the 17th edition of the program, as part of health prevention, employees could take blood tests with a market value of over PLN 600. The tests, different for women and men, included, among others, a morphology, determination of sugar and vitamin D levels, a hormonal and oncological package allowing for testing of tumor markers. All eligible employees, including store crews, had the opportunity to receive a voucher to take a blood test at a selected diagnostic point located throughout Poland.

In addition, during the year he/she uses additional e-code top-ups for purchases in the Biedronka and Hebe networks, as well as the Multisport card.
Biedronka has launched a new talent program – Akcja Operacja. This is an intensive year of development for 18 participants who are preparing to take on key management positions.
