What non-wage benefits do our employees receive?

The offer of the largest private employer in Poland includes a number of benefits for employees and their families. 

A person working in a store can obtain additional financial support in the form of e-codes for purchases to be used in Biedronka and Hebe, which they receive at least twice a year in an amount depending on the income threshold. For warehouse workers, the offer is extended to include free lunches and access to physiotherapy consultations in each of the distribution centers. Employees can also count on interest-free loans for housing purposes, and people in difficult life and financial situations can receive non-refundable benefits. 

December at Biedronka is a time of special holiday packages, which include holiday packages, bonuses, and in 2021 and 2022 employees also received an additional PLN 1,000 in the form of special discounts on purchases in our stores. 

Additionally, in our company we focus on employee development – in addition to the standard training offer, they can use the EduAkcja training and development platform, available 24/7 from any device. 

At Biedronka, we care about your health, which is why we encourage our employees to have regular preventive tests, eat healthy and be physically active. Every year, we organize the "Biedronka Sports Challenge", in which our employees compete in two categories: running and cycling. We also offer a package of annual tests and visits to specialists as part of the "Let's Take Care of Health Together" program. Employees can use the Multisport card, which gives them access to over 4,000 sports facilities throughout Poland. 

A new feature in the offer are integration meetings, which are financed by the employer. Thanks to this solution, our teams can build a positive atmosphere, also outside of work. 

For managerial positions, Biedronka also offers private medical care for employees and their families on preferential terms.

Employee benefits also for your loved ones

The family of our employees is very important to us, which is why at Biedronka their children and loved ones can also take advantage of some of the benefits. 

As part of the holiday package, employees' children receive specially prepared holiday packages, adjusted to their age range. For first-graders, we have prepared school supplies, and for newborns - beautiful supplies for the youngest children who have just appeared in the world. Every year, our employees' children also receive a set of healthy snacks on the occasion of Children's Day. Do you have children between the ages of 8 and 17? We will make sure that in the summer they can relax on holiday trips full of attractions and adventures. Another unique non-wage benefit is the Little Heroes project, under which we help parents of children who struggle with serious health problems. In such a difficult situation, we offer our employees co-financing, among others, the purchase of rehabilitation equipment, medicines, visits to the doctor, rehabilitation or therapy.
