What is the Young Talents 4 Biedronka competition?

We created Young Talents 4 Biedronka with entrepreneurial, innovative and resourceful students in mind, aged 19-25. Over the course of six months, you will have the opportunity to implement a group project under the supervision of experienced Biedronka mentors, which can have a real impact on the shopping experience of millions of customers. At the end, the best will receive financial rewards and the opportunity to start working for the largest employer in Poland!

You don't have to have straight A's in your transcript to enter the competition. We're also curious about the activities you're involved in within and outside of the University.

We focus on teamwork

At Biedronka, teamwork and mutual support are important to us, which is why you will compete for prizes in groups of 3 people, which we will create during the Bootcamp planned for spring.

Congratulations! Recruitment is behind you and the Young Talents 4 Biedronka competition is just starting for you. In the second half of April, we will invite you to an online meeting, during which you will meet the program participants, take part in the first trainings and start your adventure with the retail industry.

Spring bootcamp

At the end of May, we will meet in Warsaw, at the Biedronka headquarters at ul. Dolna 3. In the Young Talents 4 Biedronka competition, we strongly focus on development, which is why we have prepared unique training for this day that will help you develop soft skills. During this stage, you will meet your team members and your mentor. Together, you will discuss the idea for the project and determine the first actions you should take. The bootcamp will last 2 days.

Preparing projects under the supervision of mentors

The time has come when you start implementing your idea. Your team has a dozen or so weeks to prepare the final presentation. Throughout this time, you can count on the support of mentors who will meet with you regularly. We are very curious about the results of your work!

This is the last stage – we invite you to the final of the program. All teams will be able to present their results to the competition jury. On this day, you will find out who will receive the main prize and who will take second and third place. Maybe your team will impress the jury and win the Young Talents 4 Biedronka competition? We wish all the finalists good luck!

5th stage

The competition finale and presentation of ideas to the jury

We want to invite creative and proactive people to the competition, so information about the field of study, participation in student organizations or volunteering, knowledge of programs and applications, and level of foreign language proficiency are important. If you have first professional experience - brag about it and describe your tasks and responsibilities in previous places of work.

The competition will last about half a year. At the end of May, we are planning a 2-day bootcamp in Warsaw and - apart from the Final Gala - it will be the only stationary event where presence will be required. You organize work on projects independently in groups and in cooperation with your Mentor - the number of hours and online meetings will depend on you, so that you can make it to the final presentation to the jury at the end of September.

Yes, we provide accommodation and meals – we only do not reimburse travel costs to stationary events.

We are open to cooperation with participants of the Young Talents 4 Biedronka program, but a lot depends on the company's business needs and current recruitment. The winners of the competition will have the opportunity to take advantage of accelerated recruitment for Biedronka's talent programs: Management Trainee and Owocne Wakacje.
