Frequently asked questions

The start date of the program depends on the department in which the internship is carried out. In regional structures, internships can start as early as June, but also in July and later - their nature is more flexible, also in terms of duration. In the main office in Warsaw and in the Shared Services Center in Poznań, internships start on July 1 and last until September 30.

It depends on the specific department. In some, in regional teams, internships last a few weeks, while in others they last up to 3-4 months. In the main office and the Shared Services Center, internships last a full 3 months (July-September). Information about the expected length of the internship will be available in the content of the advertisement.

It also depends on the specific department and the nature of the duties during the internship and your possibilities. In regional teams it is 30-40 hours per week, in the main office closer to 40. Of course, there is the possibility of a holiday break.

Interesting! You can definitely count on getting involved in the current work of the selected department, getting to know its specifics and its impact on the functioning of the entire company. We are a very large organization, so there are also many specific locations. These are offices of macroregions and regions throughout Poland, as well as the main office in Warsaw and the Shared Services Center in Poznań.

First of all, we want to get to know you and your expectations towards the internship, but we also want you to get to know us as well as possible during the recruitment process. The recruitment meeting is therefore aimed at learning as much about each other as possible. In the main office, recruitment consists of two stages: a meeting with the recruiter, during which you can ask about all the issues related to the internship and Biedronka that are important to you, and a meeting with your future supervisor, during which you can get to know the area you are applying to better and learn more about the tasks. In regional structures, the recruitment process looks similar or consists of one stage, i.e. a joint meeting with the recruiter and your future supervisor.

First of all, understanding how a retail chain works, what challenges it faces and what influences its success. During the internship, you will also learn the specifics of a selected department and expand your area of expertise. Thanks to the knowledge you have gained, you will be able to explain to your friends what processes make them find their favorite products on the shelves in Biedronka and why 5 million customers shop with us every day 😊
