We know the winners of the Young Talents 4 Biedronka competition

The Young Talents 4 Biedronka project is aimed at students interested in retail and entrepreneurship. The competition is carried out by the Biedronka network in cooperation with the Our Future Foundation educational foundation. During the final gala, the best were selected from over 18 finalists who developed original solutions to improve the areas of supply chain, environmental protection and logistics.

Winning projects Young Talents 4 Biedronka

The best innovators were Cezary Mikuś, Mateusz Stebner and Adrian Minota from the logistics team, who jointly developed a concept for using the Yard Management Systems IT system in Biedronka warehouses to monitor and manage the movement of suppliers on the maneuvering yard in the Distribution Center. The winners received a prize of PLN 7,500 per person, as well as tickets to Our Future Foundation events.

Second place went to the idea of Martyna Gawlikowicz, Jan Andrys and Adam Skrzydlak from the environmental protection team, which aimed to introduce the operation of the deposit system to customers of the Biedronka network. For the second place, the organizer provided a prize of PLN 5,000 per person.

Third place went to the supply chain team, consisting of Karolina Tomasik, Adriana Karkulowska and Bartosz Zych. The team members won PLN 2,500 each.

Each prize includes a special e-code for purchases in Biedronka chain stores. In total, Biedronka allocated almost PLN 50,000 for the development of the winners.

The jury consisted of experienced businessmen and experts, including Agnieszka Sokołowska – Director of Internal Communication, EB and Support Programs at Biedronka, Kamila Chomka – Director of Education and Development at Biedronka, Anna Szuszkiewicz – Director of B2B Marketing and Sponsoring at the Wirtualna Polska Group, Marian Owerko – founder and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of FoodWell Sp. z o. o., prof. dr hab. Michał Zasada – Rector of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences and Kamil Tomkowicz – Member of the Management Board of Our Future Foundation.

How can young talents develop their wings at Biedronka?

For years, as part of the Biedronka Campus, it has been supporting young talents in their development and building a career path. Every year, about a hundred people participate in the talent programs implemented by the company - Management Trainee, Fruitful Holidays, Finance Academy, or IT School. The Young Talents 4 Biedronka competition is another innovative step in the strategy of cooperation with the academic community implemented by Biedronka.
