Learn about Kuba's story - MT intern
Recruitment for the next, autumn edition of Management Trainee – a leadership program, under the wings of Biedronka, has started! The program starts in November this year. To get to know the program and its assumptions better, we asked Kuba – an MT 2023 intern, about his experiences related to Management Trainee. Read for yourself!
Why did you apply to Biedronka? Where did you find the job advertisement?
I found the job posting for the MT program on LinkedIn. I had heard about the program from friends before.
How do you remember the recruitment process?
The recruitment process was complex. After applying, there was a phone interview, followed by an online testing phase. In the next step, I took part in the Assessment Center panel, after which there were 2 more interviews.
Why did the Management Trainee program seem like an attractive option to you?
After my management studies, I wanted to quickly start working in a management position. The MT program seemed attractive to me because after 2 years of internship it gives the possibility of promotion to the role of junior manager.
What area are you currently working in?
I am currently on rotation in Operations, in the store. I previously worked in the logistics department.
What challenges do you face every day in your work?
During the MT program, I take on challenges related to many areas. It forces me to constantly learn new things and processes. Although the constant acquisition of knowledge is demanding, it makes the work more interesting.
What moment of the program do you remember best?
The best moments of the program are the MT trainings, during which I can meet with friends from my year.
What advice would you give to candidates for the programme?
I definitely recommend the MT program, and I would advise candidates to not be afraid to show their strengths and believe in their skills during the various stages of recruitment.
Would you decide to apply for the Biedronka program again?
Definitely yes. I am very happy with the program and I see opportunities for further development in the company.
What do you think is the greatest strength of the Management Trainee program?
The strongest point of the MT program is the quick opportunity to learn about the nature of work in various positions in the company and the people who work in those positions. By understanding the processes taking place in the entire network, you can quickly acquire the knowledge necessary to take on a managerial position.
