What are the requirements for working in the Biedronka store?

For the position of Cashier, Store Employee or Cashier-Seller we are looking for people who are willing to work in a team, who like working with people and contact with customers. Candidates should be ready for physical work and shift work - also on weekends or night shifts. At Biedronka you can work part-time, depending on your availability, e.g. 1/4 or 3/4, which can be an attractive solution for students or mothers who want to return to the job market. What are requirements for work at Biedronka for management positions? If you want to apply for a management position, i.e. Deputy Store Manager or Manager, we expect experience in team management and previous work in trade or gastronomy. For work in a management position, we are looking for full-time people, available and ready for shift and physical work. In the case of managerial positions, i.e. Operations and Sales Manager, in addition to the above-mentioned expectations, candidates must have a category B driving license.

What are the requirements for working in a warehouse at Biedronka?

In the case of the Warehouseman position, we expect candidates to be ready for shift and physical work, as well as to be available, due to the fact that our Centers also operate on weekends and holidays. If you are applying for a managerial or executive position, previous experience in team management and specific competencies or skills, depending on the position, will be required.

What are the requirements for working in an office at Biedronka?

It all depends on the position – for example, for the supply chain department we are looking for people who can use Excel and are familiar with specific tools necessary for everyday work. In the case of managerial positions, we are looking for candidates with experience in team management, who like challenges and are ready for great variability and dynamics in work. 

To sum up, no matter what position you’re thinking about, working in retail requires communication skills and – in the case of entry-level positions – a willingness to do physical work and shift work.
