27 October 2021

Our cooperation with the Łódź Technical School No. 3 is gaining momentum! This school year, Specialists from Biedronka will conduct a series of lectures and trainings for students studying for the Logistics Technician profile. The first interesting meeting is already behind us.

The cooperation of the Łódź school with the leader of the retail market is a chance for students to get to know the practical side of their future profession. Thanks to cyclical actions and meetings, they have the chance to acquire skills that will open the way to their career in logistics. In practice, we are one of the largest logistics companies in the country, in terms of financial outlays and kilometers. We have over 3,100 stores and 16 distribution centers throughout the country. Every day we organize hundreds of warehouse and transport processes and manage thousands of employees. Hundreds of specialists supervise logistics and coordination of processes in the company.

On October 12, students of the Łódź Technical School could see and hear what work looks like at the Biedronka Distribution Center in Sieradz. Among the practitioners from the Biedronka logistics area who gave a lecture to the students were: Jacek Kasprzak - Director of the Distribution Center, Edyta Włodarczyk - Warehouse Manager, Adam Błaszczyk - Implementation and Recruitment Specialist, Darek Kwaśniak - Admissions Coordinator. Jakub Knauer - Transport Manager talked about the scale, the most important numbers and challenges in logistics at Biedronka.

Thanks to this meeting, young logisticians could learn about the practical part of the profession. We also showed them how logistics works in the largest private company in Poland. Our meeting was an ideal opportunity to show a film of the course of warehouse and transport processes and to see what the equipment of one of the largest Distribution Centers in Poland looks like.

The meeting was attended by about 100 students from the third and fourth grades of a technical school with a logistics profile. All students received commemorative gadgets from the company and took part in competitions with prizes prepared by Biedronka.
