Employee Appreciation Day has American roots. The holiday was created in 1995 by Bob Nelson, an expert in employee motivation, engagement and performance. Dr. Bob Nelson is also the author of the bestselling book "1001 Ways to Reward Employees". Nelson, known in the States as the Guru of the Thank You, shows how important it is to notice and appreciate employees.
The Biedronka team consists of over 70,000 people throughout Poland. We are one of the largest, but also the most harmonious teams. Every day we work together, face new challenges, support and help each other. Sometimes in the whirlwind of everyday work and duties we do not have time to tell our colleagues that we thank them for something, appreciate something or simply like them. From today we can do it via a special e-mail card or chatbot.
March 5 is the day of appreciation, which is why from today we have the opportunity to send words of appreciation and thanks to colleagues from our teams. We can write what we appreciate them for, why we like working together or what we thank them for. All thanks will be published on the website dlanaswjm.pl - our internal portal Biedronka, until March 12..
From here, we thank all our colleagues from stores, distribution centers and offices who prove with their work that nothing is impossible. Every day.
A few kind words can really mean a lot!
