A galaxy of stars at an online event for Biedronka employees

On January 10, 2021, a virtual New Year's Eve party was held for all employees of our network. The event was organized in cooperation with the Event Partners Agency.

The biggest stars of the Polish music scene performed during the over two-hour broadcast. During the concert, Beata Kozidrak with the Bajm band and Zenon Martyniuk with the Akcent band performed. The event was hosted by Krzysztof Ibisz, and the Ani Mru-Mru cabaret took care of the good mood of the participants.

Our network employs around 70 thousand people, which makes us the largest private employer in Poland. To repay for the work in the past, difficult year, we organized this event for employees and their families in an online format. A specially created platform designed for our needs enabled the broadcast for tens of thousands of people.

During the meeting, our employees could listen to their favorite artists and watch three sketches prepared by the Ani Mru-Mru cabaret. Two of them premiered during the event and were prepared by the group especially for this occasion. The highlight of the evening was the performance of our employees. On the virtual "stage" they sang the song "Biała armia" together with Beata Kozidrak. Music producer and composer Adam Sztaba prepared a unique music video with the participation of Biedronka employees and Beata Kozidrak.

Between the artists' performances, our employees could send live broadcast wishes and photos, as well as take part in SMS competitions. During the meeting, Bierdonka macroregion directors also extended their wishes to the employees. The participants also watched an interview with Łukasz Grass, author of the book "Łączy nas Biedronka", which tells the story of the chain's development.

The Jeronimo Martins company wanted to organize an event for its employees at a time when such an event cannot take place outside the Internet. In addition to concerts, we had a lot of interactive elements - competitions, sending text messages with wishes - the whole thing was like an internal TV program. It is worth emphasizing that we complied with all the strict sanitary restrictions at all times. Our event took place in a very large studio, we did not have an audience and we complied with all the safety rules such as wearing masks and constantly disinfecting hands

This is not the only way we thanked employees for their work in the past year. In December, we awarded special discounts of up to PLN 1,000 for online purchases, and before that, numerous awards, including the annual Elisio Alexandre Soares dos Santos award of PLN 2,300 gross, the highest in the company's history.
