Campus Ambassador Program 2019/2020 Summary

The 2019/2020 edition of the corporate Campus Ambassador Program selected 21 talented students from all over Poland who began their adventure with Jeronimo Martins in October 2019. 

The Campus Ambassador Program is one of the programs for young talents, thanks to which students from all over Poland have an impact on building a positive image of the company at their universities. The mission of our ambassadors is to promote other talent programs: Operations Management Trainee and the Student Internship Program, as well as the culture and values of Jeronimo Martins.

During the 2019-2020 edition, we organized two meetings during which our Ambassadors had the opportunity to get to know the company, go to the Distribution Center in Parzniew and take part in a training with Dagmara Pakulska on building a personal brand in social media. We also invited them to culinary workshops organized together with Culinaryon, which turned out to be great fun and a foundation for further integration. Both meetings were an opportunity to get to know our participants, familiarize them with the activities of Jeronimo Martins and present the assumptions of the program.

On 12.05.2020, we met with our participants online using the Teams application to discuss the activities undertaken during the Campus Ambassador Program 2019-2020, conduct a workshop on building authority, say goodbye and thank them for their efforts and contribution in this edition. We invited internal trainers from Jeronimo Martins Polska SA to conduct the training – Luke and I have, who talked about the methods and tools of communication, the von Thun square and the pillars on which it is worth building authority. The ambassadors also received farewell packages from us, which included, among others, a book by Zyta Machnicka entitled "Lepszy Pracodawca" with a personal dedication, a certificate of completion of the program, a sweet treat, metal straws and reusable bags for fruit and vegetables.

We would like to thank the project coordinator – David the Lamb for his commitment and constant optimism!

We believe deep in our hearts that despite the current pandemic, while observing all safety rules, we will be able to implement further programs that allow us to meet amazing young people, full of positive energy and commitment.
