One plastic bottle can decompose for up to 500 years – residents of Leśna Polana know this well, and in the new edition of the “Gang Słodziaków” campaign they share valuable knowledge about ecology. In order to awaken children’s concern for the environment, Biedronka not only draws attention to the issue of ecology in the latest book about Słodziaki or I am organizing competition for all primary schools in Poland, but also prepared a special brochure on waste segregation, which can be obtained for free by shopping next Saturday, October 12. In addition, soon Biedronka, together with the Arka Foundation, will plant thousands of trees in Poland.
In this year's "Gang Słodziaków" campaign, Biedronka encourages children not only to read, but also brings the youngest closer to the topic of environmental protection. The tree planting is carried out by the Słodziaki in the last chapter of the book telling about the adventures of the Słodziaki Gang, as well as students of grades I-III of primary schools as part of the Biedronki competition. The network does not stop there. To celebrate Tree Day, Biedronka has entered into cooperation with the Arka Foundation, under which 10,000 trees will be planted by spring 2020.
