What benefits did Biedronka employees receive in the first half of 2025?
Biedronka's employee benefits offer includes over 20 programs that address a variety of needs and life situations. See which benefits employees received from January to July 2025.
Employee e-codes – additional funds for purchases
One of the most appreciated benefits is topping up e-codesThese are digital codes that provide funds to be used in Biedronka stores and Hebe drugstores. In the first half of 2025, employees received two such top-ups, ranging from 630 PLN to 750 PLN.
"Let's Take Care of Our Health Together" Program
Biedronka cares about the health of its employees and their families. From May to August, you can take advantage of free blood tests with a market value of over PLN 600 – performed during working hours. In total, as many as 34,000 free test packages.
Sports challenge
With the start of the summer season, a sports competition kicked off! As part of an internal challenge, we encouraged employees to participate in two sports categories: running and cycling. Employees completed a total of over 176 thousand kilometers! Competitors who collected the most kilometers received prizes.
Holidays with Biedronka - co-financing of summer camps
Many parents struggle with arranging their children's time appropriately during the summer holidays. Biedronka is reaching out and supporting parents by offering subsidies for summer camps and summer camps for children aged 8-17. Thanks to this, by 2025, as many as 1000 children took advantage of attractive holiday programs at the seaside, in the mountains and in Masuria.
Children's Day with Ladybug
On the occasion of June 1st, Biedronka has prepared 49,000 surprises For employees' children. This sweet (though not overly sweet!) treat for our employees' children – designed to surprise, delight, and… maybe even inspire them to try new flavors. It's an annual tradition that brings a lot of joy to the little ones.
Discounts on holidays and entertainment
Employees could take advantage of attractive discounts on accommodation, concert and festival tickets, children's activities, home shopping, and transportation. This made summer expenses easier on the household budget.
School supplies for first-graders
To kick off their school journey, 5,200 students starting primary school received a school kit from Biedronka. The kit included a backpack, a water bottle, a lunch box, a pencil case with accessories, crayons, paints, and other school supplies. The kits were available in two color versions – one for girls and one for boys.
