Biedronka supports small producers

Biedronka is lending a helping hand to small Polish businesses in difficult times as part of the “Time to Support Small Producers” campaign. Through over 3,000 Biedronka chain stores, their products can now reach millions of new customers. This is another action by the Biedronka chain, which aims to support individual social groups in the current crisis.

The Biedronka Foundation will allocate PLN 10 million to support seniors

The Biedronka Foundation, established in April this year, is actively involved in the fight against coronavirus and is thus offering its assistance to social welfare homes and other centers that provide care for the elderly. The foundation will provide free personal protective equipment for staff, hygiene products and disinfectants to centers that report shortages. In the meantime, the organization is already planning further initiatives related to helping the elderly.

Biedronka discovers anti-smog mural in the center of Warsaw!

The end of the second stage of the Biedronka award for the children's book Piórko 2020 was announced by the chain of stores in an unusual way. The winner of the "Illustrations" category of this year's Piórka, Magdalena Starowicz, received a check for PLN 100,000 from Biedronka. The book cover she designed was used on a mural unveiled in Warsaw's Powiśle. The mural is unique because it is painted with paints that purify the air from smog.
